Every child has the power to succeed in school and in life and every parent, family member and caregiver can help.
How can we help our children succeed?
We know, for example, that children tend to do the same things as their parents do. What we say and do in our daily lives can help them to develop positive attitudes toward school and learning and to build confidence in themselves as learners. Showing our children that we value education and use it in our daily lives provides them with powerful models and contributes greatly to their success in school.

PTO meeting September 11 @ 6pm, in the Elementary Library.
Any Student interested in Boys Scouts of America can come Tuesday, September 4, @ 7pm, in the Elementary Gym to sign up.
Please make transportation changes by 2:30 to ahurley@crestridge.org , 660-656-3316, or you can send a note with your child!
Walk To School Days
Every Wednesday from 7:30 - 7:50, unless it is raining or below 32 degrees!
Parents please drop students off at the Crow’s Nest,
no earlier than 7:30!!
Cougar Club News
It’s that time again! Cougar Club After School is excited for a new school year! Cougar Club is available from 3 pm - 6 pm every day school is in session for a full day. We have snack, homework help, and physical activity daily. We offer a variety of clubs, some may include: arts & crafts, science club, math club, readers theater, and many more! Come join the fun! Enrollment forms and parent handbooks are in the office.
Prices:
Full Lunch: $3.00 a day (1 child)
$2.00 a day (2+ children)
Free/Reduced Lunch: $2.00 a day (1 child)
$1.00 a day (2+ children)
