February Leaders of the Month
Ricki Williams and Matt Kroenke have been chosen by staff and teachers as the students they wish to recognize at Crest Ridge for the leadership qualities.
Matt is a senior and is involved in the FFA and FBLA and holds the office as FFA treasurer. His awards include Green hand Chapter degree, and lettering in FBLA. He was a major participant in the community service project, Harvest Days that provided information to elementary students on agriculture, business, and consumer science pathways. Matt is actively a part of the A+ program where he mentors at the elementary building for Mrs. Lloyd’s kindergarten class. Matt plans to attend a vocational school and study welding with a long term goal of owning and operating his own farm.
Ricki is a senior at Crest Ridge and is involved in FFA, FBLA, and is Senior Representative for Student Council. She participated in the CTE sponsored Harvest Day community service project. For her senior project, she traveled to Costa Rica volunteering her time with the group Save Sea Turtles, a non-profit organization. Ricki earned the Green hand award in FFA and is involved with the FBLA digital video team that competes in February at District Competition. She plans to attend college at the Kansas City Art Institute and major in photography.
