As announced earlier this summer, under the new MSHSAA regulations, pre-participation physicals will be considered current for a 2 year period. However, the parent permissions and insurance information must be updated each year in the PRIVIT database (secure student health information system). If this is your first time entering data into the PRIVIT system, follow the instruction on this link First time User. If you are a returning student, use the instructions on the following link Returning Students. Additionally, if you are a returning student, you will either need to upload your physical from last year or retrieve your previously uploaded document from the PRIVIT archives and bring it into the current year documents.
This information must be entered and updated prior to August 12th for HS students and August 19th for JH Students participating in Fall sports. If the information is not current, your student will not be eligible to practice.
Finally, this also means that the physical expiration date is 2 years to the day of the actual physical and the student will become ineligible on that date. We are working on a reminder process that will notify each student and parent as their physical expiration date approaches.
