Attn parents and students: A new MSHSAA by-law has been put in place which allows for a pre-participation physical to be valid for 2 years. However, your student's emergency contact information, health history and insurance information must be updated each year in our online athletic health service PRIVIT. PRIVIT allows your student's health information to be kept in a secure location accessible by only coaches and administrators. Returning users will be able to find the physical that was uploaded last year in the archived documents.
One point to be aware of: Since physicals are now valid for 2 years, they will become invalid upon the 2 year anniversary of the physical which may possibly be mid-season. If a new physical is not submitted prior to the 2 year anniversary date, the student would become ineligible.
