The Crest Ridge School District is extremely excited to welcome new staff for the 2021-22 school year!  Four of our new staff members are highlighted on our website at the bottom of the page, appropriately named "Spotlight"!  As for the others--lets get to know a bit about them!

Courtney Cumpton (top left)-- Ms. Cumpton is starting her career with Crest Ridge as the School Counselor in training. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Master's Degree in School Counseling. She enjoys traveling, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her dog Ruby.

Miranda Block (top right)--Miranda is teaching high school math and coaching softball this year at Crest Ridge. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri with her Bachelor's Degree in 2019 and she is currently at UCM pursuing her Master's Degree. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pets.

Joey Duncan (bottom left)--Joey will be teaching High School Special Education. He is entering his 27th year in education. Most recently, Joey served three years as the Special Education Director for the Orrick School District. Prior to that, he spent 18 years in the North Kansas City School District as a special education teacher. He currently lives in Richmond, MO with his wife, Sandy, and his son Trey and daughter Delaney. Joey enjoys spending time with his family and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. 

Austin Bestgen (bottom right)--Austin is the Focus Room teacher at Crest Ridge Elementary. He received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Austin is currently enlisted in the Air Force Reserves and the Assistant High School Track and Field Coach at Crest Ridge.
