The Crest Ridge Board of Education voted to approve changes to the Safe Return to In Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan last night during the regularly scheduled board meeting. Those changes are as follows.
- Remove the language that states masks will be required "when physical distancing is not possible indoors". Our new mask mitigation procedure will now state: Mask wearing for staff and students is recommended, but optional for almost all circumstances. Masks will be required when being transported on a bus.
- Add quarantine option #4 (Test to Stay) to our plan. Under certain conditions, quarantined students and staff may still attend school even when deemed a close contact by our own definition. Specifics of this new quarantine option can be found in the Safe Return Plan found on our district website at www.crestridge.org.
