Cougar Fans, Softball defeats the Santa Fe 8-0 in the I-70 Conference Tournament semis. Erin Harms breaks the school strikeout record with her 543 strikeout and counting! Congrats Erin! The girls will play tomorrow night at 6pm for the conference tournament championship.

CRE: Tomorrow we begin MAP testing with the 4th grade. Students were excited as they got "pumped up" for the days ahead. Be sure students are getting plenty of sleep and have a calm morning.

Reminder! There will be a shot clinic next week on May 7th, for 7th and 11th graders during the school day. The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MOASSP), in proud partnership with Walsworth Publishing Company, recently named their regional Consummate Professionals. Dr. Frank was selected as the Consummate Professional for the Central Region.

The Walsworth Consummate Professional Award honors principals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and contributions to their school and community.

Dr. Frank will also receive a $500 scholarship to present to a Crest Ridge Senior in the graduating Class of 2026! Congratulations, Dr. Frank!

What a great time our students had at the AR Lock-In. We had a record 60 students complete the reading challenge and earn the chance to attend the Lock-In. Thank you Mrs. Meyrand and staff for an awesome evening.

Yesterday, volunteers from FBC Warrensburg came to CRE as part of the church's annual serve day. They did some landscaping work on both the entrance and the playground, as well as some much-needed painting and repair of the stage stairs. Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks to all those who came out on Friday night to support the Volleyball Fundraiser. The Boys had a good time with some tough competition. Seniors took 1st place, Sophomores 2nd, Junior’s 3rd and Freshmen 4th. Thanks again for all of your participation. See you next year!

We’ve had several parents reach out wanting to help, and I’d love to keep that going for our secondary building. I currently have sign-ups available for:

• May 7 – Grab & Go Snacks

Items can be dropped off the day before or the morning of. If you sign up, please leave a comment with what you’re bringing so we can keep a good variety.

I’m always open to other ideas as well. Anything that helps show our teachers and staff how much they are appreciated is welcome. 💚
