A few weeks ago, 8th grade students enjoyed their field trip to the Steamboat Arabia museum, followed by lunch at Crown Center. We had read about the steamboat and mapped its journey prior to the field trip, and students had the opportunity to chat with David Hawley, one of the explorers who excavated the ship. It was such a cool experience, and they seemed to enjoy it! We also made a pit stop by the Chief's Stadium for a photo on our way!
