The art department is assisting the drama club with some set props made from cardboard cutouts. To complete the task, they are using their new chomp saws. Generously donated, these make short work of a previously demanding (and often dangerous) job. Thank you!

Who should run the Glade? The Contemporary Literature class has definitely taken on a Survivor vibe as they work through The Maze Runner and tackle some deep issues like why it means to be a leader.

Spirit week was a lot of fun, but no day made me happier than dress your age day. The seniors especially, but some others really cracked me up (including the random emu Mr. Kenney brought-although he clearly misunderstood the assignment). I hope we made some memories :-)

Breanna’s favorite high school memory is winning districts with her volleyball team.
During her time at Crest Ridge, she has been involved in FBLA, FCA, FFA, FCCLA, volleyball, cheer, and softball.
She shares that Lylah, Laney, Addie, and Jenna made school fun and had the biggest impact on her during her time at Crest Ridge.
Her advice to younger Cougars is to get involved and make the most of their high school experience. It goes by fast, so make it worth your while.
After graduation, Breanna plans to attend State Fair, where she will cheer while completing the two-year nursing program before transferring to UCM.
Looking ahead 10 years, she sees herself with her nursing license, working where she wants to be, and living somewhere beautiful with her husband. A fun fact about Breanna is that she’s terrified of heights but rode a roller coaster for the first time ever this year.
Her favorite quote is: “Great things take time, and that’s why I was always late.”
