🌟 Crest Ridge Senior Spotlight 🌟
Liam McCartney’s favorite high school memory is going to the Lexington powerlifting meet solo and winning first place in three categories.
During his time at Crest Ridge, he has been involved in football, band, powerlifting, and NHS. Liam shares that Mr. Kenney has made the biggest impact on him throughout high school, not only as a teacher but also because he helped Liam get better at Pokémon.
His advice to younger Cougars is simple but important: “Do your work and listen to Mr. Dye.”
After graduation, Liam plans to attend college to pursue mechanical engineering. Looking ahead, he sees himself in 10 years happily fishing on a river with some money in his pocket.
A fun fact about Liam is that he’s “pretty dang good at Pokémon TCG.”
One quote that inspires him is from Tom Platz: “When it comes time for that one set, when you think you’re done, you’re totally done, you have at least 5 more reps, ok?”

I had to rest for a couple of days after all the excitement of homecoming! It was a great night to be a Cougar! Congrats to the homecoming royalty. As well as the football team, the band, cheer, and dance teams for superb performances. It finished off with the StuCo dance, which featured a rather interesting floor dance to Fishin' in the Dark...

The Marching Cougars placed 2nd overall and Colorguard placed 1st overall at their first competition of the season, the Mid-Missouri SoundOff in Smithton, MO! Thank you to parents for volunteering and cheering them on and to the community for your help and support.
Due to low numbers on both side the JV football game will be 2 quarters following the JH game vs Cole Camp. The JH game will start at 5:30.
