It's a busy week at CRS! Yesterday's award ceremonies will be followed up by a rewards trip today to Alley Cats for some bowling and fun. Congratulations to all of our hardworking cougars, it is certainly enjoyable for us educators to honor hard work and academic achievement

Congrats to the Cougar baseball team on their 4-3 district semifinal win over St.Paul tonight. They will play tomorrow night in Concordia for the district championship @ 4:30. Go get'em boys!
"Where's Mrs. Heishman?" day was a SUCCESS! CRE students found all 100 photos of Mrs. Heishman! Way to Go!
The MSHSAA/NFHS Junior High Sportsmanship Awards go to Jaycee Gower and Wyatt Brant. Congrats to you both for being good sportsmen and even better people.
Last week, FBLA & Entrepreneurship Class went on their 2nd annual Small Business Field Trip! This year, we chose Sedalia! The variety and depth of knowledge discussed with each business owner was incredible! First we visited Reid at the historic Lamy's Building, which has been in operation since 1893!! Then we learned about running a successful restaurant from Cesar at El Tapatio- a business that just celebrated their 30 year mark! - and of course enjoyed lunch there as well! Lastly, we spoke with Matt from PowerUp! Arcade, who opened their doors 2 years ago! Students all learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes operations of these vastly different businesses and had fun along the way too.
CRE Students have been challenged to a game of "Where's Mrs. Heishman?" today. They have to work together to find 100 pictures of Mrs. Heishman in disguise.
Challenge ACCEPTED!

Today's game will be played tomorrow at the same time 4:30. Bus time 2:30 and dismissal 2:10 will also be the same. The location may get moved but we will post that as soon as we know anything.

Way to go, Cougars! Varsity baseball defeated Drexel 12-7 in round 1 of district play. Wyatt Ducos went 3-3 with a home run and freshman Andy Owens got the win on the hill. They play St. Paul on May 19 @ 4:30 in the district semifinal at Concordia.
CRS Parents: Awards Assembly will be on Tuesday, May 20th. HS will be at 9am, and MS will be at 2pm.
It's graduation day! The awards assembly was a success, the seniors practiced up and the venue is ready! Please join us tonight at Hendricks Hall (UCM). Doors open and the senior slide show begins at 6, with graduation at 7 pm.

CRS would like to welcome Mr. Joseph McCorkle to our Cougar community. Mr. McCorkle has been hired to teach MS/HS health and coach HS football for the 2025-26 school year.
