Crest Ridge is committed to creating a culture of excellence. With that, we are trying to instill habits of excellence with our students. At the Secondary, students get recognized with these notes from staff. We will also recognize students for these and other demonstrations of excellence at an assembly later this month.
Color Guard did an amazing job competing with the band at CMU this past Saturday. They received the Outstanding Auxiliary Award for Class 2 in parade competition! The choreography for the parade was written by freshmen Fayth Kelso-Perkins and Hannah Cochran.

Grandparents day was a great success at Crest Ridge Elementary. We had over 350 guests in attendance. A huge shoutout to those who made it all go smoothly. Robin Currence, Chasity Wilson Jennifer Cave and many more including Kelli Meyrand who also ran the book fair. A special thanks to the CRE PTO who provided cookies and photo booths. The crowd enjoyed a wonderful performance by all of our students. Thank you to all who attended.

HS Volleyball is in action Saturday at the I-70 Conference Tournament.
Junior High volleyball closed their season out tonight on a heartbreaking loss to Knob Noster. The girls played very well all season & tons of fun was had by all.
Elementary library classes celebrated Dot Day in September. We read the books "The Dot," "Sky Color," and "-ish" by author Peter H. Reynolds. Students then created some unique dot artwork to showcase our creativity.
Season Finale! JH Volleyball played a pair of matches at Knob Noster to complete their season. Great job Lady Cougars!
Friday, October 6 is Grandparents' Day!! Doors open at 12:45pm.

If you have a change for morning transportation, please call 660-656-3316, prompt 4, to let the Dispatcher know. There is someone in the Transportation office starting at 5:45 am, please leave a message if you call in before then. The Dispatcher will then relay the transportation change to the Bus Driver. Thank you for your help.

CRE is excited! Tomorrow is Grandparents' Day! We will open the doors for our guests at 12:45. There will be extra parking available on the south end of the high school parking lot and we will be running a shuttle before and after. We look forward to seeing you!
