Advice for an underclassman: You must push yourself to be uncomfortable to grow. Extra-Curricular Activities: Volleyball, Softball, and Track Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: In 10 years I hope to be working in the career I choose. What accomplishment are you most proud of?: Getting an all-district outfielder award.

The JH basketball games on 11/14 @Sweet Springs will be A only and will start at 6pm.

Thank you to our Veteran's who have served to protect our country. We had an awesome morning celebrating them. Our students worked diligently to provide an outstanding performance. Thank you also to our staff who made it all possible.

CRE-Veteran's Day Reminders: K & 1st wear Red; 2nd & 3rd wear White; 4th and 5th wear Blue Veteran's and spouse will receive a ticket for a free breakfast; anyone else wanting to join us for breakfast will need to plan on paying $2.70. Doors open at 7:45am and the program begins at 8:45am.

Good morning! We wanted to send out more details on the exciting visit we have coming up from Nick "The Kick" Lowrey, a Chiefs Hall of Famer!  He'll be here at 2:30 on Monday, Nov 11th in the HS Gym  He is waiving a $12k speaking fee just to come encourage our students and community and give us an opportunity to be in the news once again to help boost our chances of winning the T-Mobile contest!  Since he is being so generous, it's our hope that we can get as many people in the stands as possible - He is coming all the way from Arizona to be with us! He will also be accepting donations for his foundation, Champions for the Homeless.  We hope to see you there!

National FFA Convention

Crest Ridge FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Convention, where students gained leadership skills and a greater understanding of agriculture. Members toured Heartland Growers and Beasley's Orchards and attended the career expo and convention sessions.

Senior Spotlight!!! Joie Terry Future Plans: I am planning on going to WMMC to become a phlebotomist. Favorite high school memory: All the laughs and funny things said at my lunch tables. Advice for an underclassman: You can do anything you want to. Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't. Work hard in school, turn in your work on time, and school will not be hard. Extra-Curricular Activities: FFA, Basketball manager, and FCA Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: In 10 years I see myself working as a phlebotomist and being married with kids and living a great life. What accomplishment are you most proud of?: I am very proud of knowing what I would like to do after school and having my plans all planned out for the future.

Senior Spotlight! Stephan Yates Future Plans: I plan to get a good job, write a few books, and create video games. Favorite high school memory: Playing D&D after School. Advice for an underclassman: Pay attention to the basics. They’re what you build everything else on. Extra-Curricular Activities: D&D club HS Drama/Theater Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Using a degree to work a pleasant job with time for my hobbies to thrive. What accomplishment are you most proud of?:Going from homeschool to public school and still succeeding academically.

Senior Spotlight! Wyatt Ducos Future Plans: Play baseball at UCM. Favorite high school memory: When there was a bomb threat and we spent the whole day outside. Advice for an underclassman: Get work done in class. Extra-Curricular Activities: Baseball, basketball, and football Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Doing linework with my dad. What accomplishment are you most proud of?:Getting All-State again when I only played half a season.
