Reminder from Janet Everhart, RN: Kindergarten, 8th and 12th grade students will all be needing immunizations updates before school starts. Proof of immunization or updated exemption card must be on file before your child can return to school in August. Thank you!

ATTN ALL High School and Middle School Students participating in weights and conditioning: It has come to our attention that several area schools have had to shut down these same activities for the next 2 weeks due to multiple students testing positive for COVID-19. Some of these schools include Warrensburg, Pleasant Hill, Clinton and Harrisonville. In order for Crest Ridge to return to weights and conditioning activities tomorrow, it is imperative that every student and adult follow the Johnson County Health Department Guideline by maintaining a physical distance of 6’ or more. When this condition cannot be met, whether it be indoors or outdoors, a face covering that effectively covers the mouth and nose must be worn. We want everyone to be able to participate in these healthy and important events but at this time, it is important to consider the health of those around you. If a student or adult cannot follow these guidelines, they will be asked to leave the activity.
If you feel sick or are running a fever, STAY HOME.
Please notify your coach or the school immediately if you are required to get tested for COVID-19 or test positive for COVID-19.
Many of these shut-downs have come after private gatherings of many students without regard to the health guidelines. Again, please take these measures seriously so that we can continue the summer weights and conditioning program.
This situation will be monitored daily.

Graduation practice and seating lottery are in the books! Some final reminders: Graduation @ 2. Graduates arrive at noon for pictures. Each graduate gets 8 guests. Live stream at http://ucmo.edu/centraltv Masks are required for all attendees. Staff are invited to attend. Looking forward to celebrating our 2020 seniors!
Athletes: As weights, conditioning and open gym times begin again next week. Anyone entering the secondary building will need to wear a mask. Outdoor activities will still require social/physical distancing of 6' or more.
