Did you know that Crest Ridge Elementary is currently assessed at 98% capacity? In coordination with Incite Design Studios, the District has engaged in a Long Range Planning process and the capacity assessments at our buildings have proven the growth of our programming.
A primary contributor to this increase in used capacity is the careful attention to our Special Education programming. In the last two years, the Board of Education has approved the addition of a second Special Education Resource teacher/classroom, two Early Childhood Special Education classrooms, and most recently, a self-contained Special Education Behavior classroom to be implemented in the Fall of 2025.
We are very excited to offer the most strategic and appropriate services for students with disabilities, and the Board of Education is deeply committed to giving each and every student what they need.
Proposition KIDS is slated to impact every student at Crest Ridge and the passage of the bond would ensure that the needed programming changes are more readily accommodated. Be sure to get out and vote on April 8! More information on all the components of the bond issue can be found here: https://5il.co/3b83i
