ELA 1 students participated in a poetry workshop held by the UCM English department today. They analyzed poems and created their own as the they rotated through different stations. We are thankful to have a good relationship with the UCM English Education department so that we have these opportunities. These students exhibited exemplary behavior, which is why we were invited to help future teachers practice.

🌟 Senior Spotlight🌟
Erin Harms
Erin’s favorite high school memory is playing softball with her friends.
During her time at Crest Ridge, she was involved in FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, softball, and basketball.
She says Mr. Laws and Mr. Dye made the biggest impact on her.
Erin’s advice for younger Cougars is: Get your homework done as soon as you get it, so you have free time later.
After graduation, she plans to attend Indian Hills Community College and play softball.
In 10 years, Erin sees herself owning a house with lots of land and starting a family.
A fun fact about Erin is that she writes with her left hand but does everything else with her right.
Her favorite quote is: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13
