Savanna Bramwell
Savanna’s favorite high school memory is getting to play sports with her friends.
She has been involved in FFA, Student Council, Cheer, Basketball, Track & Field, and 4-H during her time at Crest Ridge.
Savanna says Mrs. Helmich and Mr. Kenney have made the biggest impact on her. Her advice to younger Cougars is: “Work hard for the future you want.”
After graduation, Savanna plans to attend college and study veterinary science. In 10 years, she sees herself working with large animals for a living.
Fun fact: Savanna shows eight pigs in the summer.

JH 🏀 wraps up the I-70 tournament tonight! Boys play for 3rd place and girls play for consolation championship.

Day 2 from the Santa Fe JH Tournament. Girls win convincingly over Concordia to advance to the consolation game (11/5 @ 6:30). Boys lose a heartbreaker--play for third place (11/5 @ 5:15)

Today CRS high school students participated in the Arrive Alive Tour. This mobile simulator demonstrates the dangers of impaired driving. Students experience simulated driving under the influence (either from alcohol or drugs) and are given feedback in the form of a ticket. This event was an extension of Red Ribbon Week's goal to encourage students to stay drug and alcohol free.
We had some Halloween/Fall fun at the elementary on Friday.

Halloween Hijinks! Friday's Halloween costumes were actually a dress day for Red Ribbon Week, which culminated with an assembly during advisory. Here a few pictures of the anti-drug awareness event, which interestingly included some dancing--even some of a chicken variety ;-)
