We are hosting both boys and girls basketball districts next week 2/24-3/1. Boys nights are Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. Girls nights are Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. We have a bye in both districts. Boys play Wednesday at 5:30. Girls play Thursday at 7:00. Good Luck Cougars in districts!

On 2/1 our own Tucker Camp participated in the mascot games at UCM. He won a game of knockout at halftime of the UCM Men's game. Great job Tucker! Thank you for representing Crest Ridge!
The National Honor Society chose the Warrensburg Veterans Home for their spring service project. We had a great time helping the residents play Bingo.

Our snowy winter has had us out of school a number of days. Our District Calendar has built in snow days and also designates several Mondays as potential make-up days.
Our two snow days this week must be made up and this will take place on Monday, March 31, 2025 and May 5,2025. Please plan accordingly to be in school on these days!
Considering impending weather for next week: If we exhaust our make-up days, we may utilize an AMI day. In the event of an AMI day:
Elementary teachers will be sending items home and reaching out to their classes with information.
Secondary teachers will plan to post information on google classroom or through email and student devices will be coming home.

Crest Ridge Basketball Fans, due to the upcoming weather, the basketball games on Tuesday 2/18 have been rescheduled to Monday 2/17 at 4:30pm in Sweet Springs. There will be 2 quarters of JV boys, 2 quarters of JV girls, and Varsity to follow.
CRE: If the kids are bored or need something different to do, check out this website. It has multiple options for reviewing sight words for all grades. If they tell Mrs. Heishman about what they did with the words tomorrow, I'll have a little surprise for them.
