It's the season of thankfulness! MS ELA has a latte to be thankful for, FFA gave notes of thanks to staff, and yesterday was Thankful Thursday at lunch (they were mostly thankful for food, but thankful is thankful:)

For the past month, the 4th and 5th graders have been learning about life cycle of pumpkins in the library. They have been observing and documenting the changes that "Pumpkin Jack" has been though. Hopefully, we may even have some new sprouts come spring.

Hello, Cougar Fans! Come out not only to support our JH basketball teams tonight, but also the The Crest Ridge Cougar Band Booster Club. They are serving dinners tonight and tomorrow night at the Crest Ridge Junior Classic. Tonight will be Frito Chili Pie and tomorrow night is Pulled Pork Dinner. Come enjoy some good food and good basketball!

Winter is quickly approaching and Crest Ridge FBLA is hosting a coat drive to collect as many clean & gently used coats, hats and gloves as we can to help out anyone in our community this season. All sizes welcome! Please turn items into Mrs Russell's room (high school room 19) through Dec 14th. If your family is in need of these items, please email jaragon@crestridge.org .

During the month of October, classes have been listening to 12 new picture books from our Fall Book Fair. We then had a mock election to pick CRE's Favorite New Picture Book. After the ballots were cast, The Cool Bean by Jory John was the selected favorite!
