Third graders went to the School of Economics in Blue Springs for a field trip where they set up and ran a full economy consisting of a Loan Department, Bank, food shops and (craft) shops.

Thankful Thursday! This a newer tradition, but one we love. Students filled out the cards today at lunch, and Coach Woolsey's Leadership and Service class hung them this afternoon. As we enter the holiday season, we might all remember that gratitude makes sense of our past and can bring peace to each new day.
Blood Drive 🩸 Our friends at the Red Cross told us that we broke our school record for donations this time! Thanks to all the staff, students, and patrons who volunteered! Also thanks to Mr. Werges and the HS Student Council for putting on the event.

Rowdy’s favorite high school memory is walking into Mr. Werges’ class with a missing assignment and the whole class cheering him on when he finally turned it in.
During his time at Crest Ridge, Rowdy played football and baseball during his sophomore and junior years.
He says Mr. Laws has made the biggest impact on him because he always encourages Rowdy to do his best and wants to see him succeed in the future.
Rowdy’s advice for younger Cougars is: Try your best in school and ALWAYS ask questions.
After graduation, he plans to attend State Tech in Linn, Missouri, and find a good-paying job.
In 10 years, Rowdy sees himself owning a house, covering all his bills comfortably, and having a solid career.
A fun fact about Rowdy is that he loves to skateboard.
His favorite quote is: “However rare true love may be, it is less so than true friendship.” – Albert Einstein
