After reading the book Twenty-One Elephants and Still Standing, 4th and 5th graders explored structures that made bridges stronger. They then were challenged to construct a bridge out of only paper that was strong enough to hold 100 pennies.

CRS Afterschool Club Parents/Guardians: We will be making a procedural change for ASC pickup at the secondary building. Starting today (11/13) parents will need to ring the doorbell at the south MS exit and then wait their child to exit the building. Thanks for your cooperation. We appreciate the opportunity to support your child in our After School Program!

I am always excited to celebrate the accomplishments of Crest Ridge students and staff! There is always so much room to grow, and I am hesitant to brag because things can change. But...I have always thought we were the best in the county, and by this measure--it looks like we currently are ;-) So proud of you Cougars! Keep working hard everyday!

🌟 Senior Spotlight🌟
Owen Wyatt

Owen’s favorite high school memory is from the bus ride to the State FFA Trap Shoot when Austin was sleeping and Tucker put a hot dog in his mouth, a moment he won’t forget.

Throughout high school, Owen has been involved in FFA, trap shooting, baseball, and basketball. He says J.B. (Mr. Boydston) has made the biggest impact on him during his time at Crest Ridge.

His advice for younger Cougars is simple but important: “Do your work on time.”
After graduation, Owen plans to attend State Fair Community College and compete on their trap shooting team. In 10 years, he sees himself running a row crop operation and attending ATA shoots.

A fun fact about Owen is that he’s placed in the top ten at the FFA State Shoot two years in a row.

His favorite quote is:
“Legends aren’t defined by their successes; they’re defined by how they bounce back from their failures.”
