CRE reminder: Kindergarten - 3rd grade program tonight - program begins at 7:00pm, doors open 6:00pm, students to their classrooms between 6:30pm and no later than 6:45. Shuttles from the HS parking lot begin at 6:00pm. See you there.

🌟Crest Ridge Senior Spotlight🌟
Trent Barnes
Trent’s favorite high school memory is when Jared Hunsbarger broke the sink, a moment that definitely won’t be forgotten.
During his time at Crest Ridge, Trent participated in football, basketball, and baseball.
He says Mrs. Boyd has made the biggest impact on him because she always pushed him to get his work done and to do better.
His advice for younger Cougars is: Do your work and don’t fall behind.
After graduation, Trent plans to go into construction and hopefully join the Operators Union.
In 10 years, he sees himself owning his own home and enjoying raising his daughter.
A fun fact about Trent is that he’s athletic.
His favorite quote is:
“I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters. For those 10 seconds or less, I’m free.” – The Fast and the Furious

Just some random academic products from CRS. Mrs. Helmich using cooking to drive discussion on the foundation of the UN! Persuasion posters from ELA covering pathos, logos, and ethos. Both FACS and Ag seem to looking for pests, parasites, and bacteria🦠 (hopefully to eradicate them--need to be clear on that with a wanted sign). The MS is filled with Manor systems and sweater projects. Proud of the work our teachers and students do every day.

Madison Weeks
Madison’s favorite high school memories include attending FBLA State and competing in marching band competitions.
Throughout her time at Crest Ridge, Madison was involved in Marching Band, FBLA, Speech, Drama, Concert Band, Choir, and Yearbook.
She shares that Mrs. Russell and Mr. Kennan have made the biggest impact on her during high school.
Madison’s advice for younger Cougars is: Don’t wait until the last moment to do your work.
After graduation, Madison plans to attend UCM and major in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science.
In 10 years, she sees herself working for the FBI or KCPD while being an EMT on the weekends.
A fun fact about Madison is that she has visited the FBI office in Kansas City for a youth outreach day.

Cougar Fans, The Lady Cougars win tonight in the opening round of the I-70 BB Tournament 67-9 over the 8 seed Orrick at Orrick! They will play St. Paul on Wednesday 12/10 @ Wellington with a 5:30 tip. Congrats Ladies! #rollcougs
Happy Holidays! CRS is kicking off the Christmas season with the leadership and service class putting up the tree. Dress up days are here as well! I even joined in the spirit (well sort of), dressing as my favorite Christmas character: Ebenezer Scrooge!

Carsen’s favorite high school memory is hanging out with his friends in advisory.
Throughout his time at Crest Ridge, he has been involved in football, basketball, baseball, track, FFA, FCA, FBLA, and NHS.
He says the people who have had the biggest impact on him are all the coaches he’s had in every sport over the last four years, each one pushing him to be better.
Carsen’s advice for younger Cougars is: High school isn’t that hard—you just have to lock in.
After graduation, he plans to join the workforce.
In 10 years, Carsen sees himself running his own business.

Varsity girls kick off the I-70 Conference Tournament at Orrick.
Varsity basketball is at the Conference Tournament this week with a couple home JH games! Secondary School Christmas Spirit days start tomorrow! #rollcougs
Full night of basketball at Orrick tonight. JH lady Cougars drop a heartbreaker by 1, and the Boys followed with a running clock victory. B teams split in the same fashion as the A squads. Very proud of everyone's effort and attitude.
