
CRE 3/23 Newsletter



Sophomore students will be taking the ASVAB tomorrow morning. Students were encouraged to charge their chromebooks this evening to ensure their device is charged and ready to go for the test. Email ccumpton@crestridge.org with any questions.

Due to the wet field conditions and more rain in the forecast, softball today is cancelled.

Softball tonight vs Sacred Heart has been canceled as Sacred Heart doesn’t not have enough players. The game is Rescheduled for 4/29.

Attention all 8th grade students and parents. Tonight at 5:30pm in the HS library we will have Freshman orientation. We will provide information and answer questions that you may have concerning the upcoming freshman and high school years.

Crest Ridge HS StuCo is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday 3/22 from 8am-1 pm in the MS gym. You can sign up online or come by the HS office that day.

Due to the rain, Baseball game times for Saturday 3/19 have been moved to 3:00 and 5:30 at Knob Noster Fields.

HS SB/BB at Green Ridge today have been canceled due to the rain.

Congratulations to the 2021-2022 inductees to the Crest Ridge Chapter of The National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society. Way to show your Cougar Pride.



Applications for the Warrensburg Area Career Center for next school year are due to Ms. Cumpton by 8 am tomorrow morning (March 18th). If any junior or senior students are wanting to enter into the military after graduation and would like to take the ASVAB here at school, they need to stop by Ms. Cumpton's office ASAP.

8th grade students and families: we will be hosting a Freshmen Orientation night on Monday, March 21st at 5:30 pm in the library. We will be outlining what to expect of the transition to high school, information about credits and the path to graduation, and other important details. We hope to see you there - this is valuable information to prepare you and your student for high school next year!

Don't miss the secondary theatre/drama club's much anticipated return to the stage!


CRE students that turned in permission slips will come home with The World’s Finest Chocolate Bars!Support CRE and buy a candy bar for $1! Students can still turn in permission slips if they would like to participate. Students can earn lots of cool prizes, including a tour of Arrowhead Stadium. (GEHA Field) We had a building wide assembly today and the kids loved it!!


IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! If you haven't sent in your registration form for the Lip Sync Battle you can still audition!


Crest Ridge Secondary has been asked by local law enforcement entities to participate in the Missouri Student Survey to collect valuable, confidential information about certain topics pertinent to our students today. This gives useful data about our student body to determine where resources and time may need to be further allocated. This is an optional survey that students can elect whether or not to complete altogether, or they can choose if they would prefer not to answer certain questions. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Cumpton or Mr. Frank for more information.
