Parents and guardians, we appreciate your help with enforcing our cell phone policy. With testing starting this past week, our students will not always have access to phones or other connected devices (watches, earbuds) and this is statewide policy for MAP/EOC testing. By policy, phones are not to be used personally during class time. As we enforce the handbook policies on cell phones from now on, please know that students will still have designated times, like lunch and passing periods, to use their phones. As always, parents can call the office if there is an emergency but immediate access via cell shouldn’t be an option. Testing protocols remind us that phones at school are a privilege—not a right. Students will be given an opportunity to place the phone in a safe location, but refusal to comply with adults isn’t acceptable. Thank you so much for your support and understanding. Please reach out to Mr. Frank if you have any questions.
